Quite enjoyed the Steve Hackett-like guitar sections around 7:14 as well as the end section starting around 14:05
Thank you! I've never been compared to Steve Hackett before, but I'll take it!
To be honest, it was a bit of a sh!t-show as we had no art director, and I was sort of trying to drive the direction of the different "lands" a bit. One based on classic WB cartoon lands, one based on a 6 Flags style amusement park, etc. I had a write up and some concept art to give to the guys doing the environments, but I can't remember them all now. Tropical resort... a downtempo chill club to hang in... arcade...
By the time we were ready to start fleshing out all the areas, they decided they wanted us working on a shoot-n-loot, so they took us off the project and handed it to another game company to finish off. A year later I asked about it and the guy from the publisher just laughed at me like I'd been joking.

That's the game industry. You've got about a 40% chance of releasing whatever you make.
