Roswell Pro Audio Mic Comparison

Hey guys! Wanted to share a video I did comparing all of the Roswell Pro Audio mics on several acoustic instruments. I hope this helps anyone whom may be considering their mics for similar sources..

Hey! Nice playing, and thanks for the comparison! Of course I like the $3k Aztec tube mic the best! Cool that you compared their lower end mics also.

Great video! Roswell / MicParts make excellent mics that are really well priced. I was able to find a used Platinum V251, which is the Mic-Parts branded Aztec, for 1/3rd the cost of an Aztec. Very lucky find. Phenomenal mic.

Thanks Gary! I actually also have some footage where I compared it to a real Telefunken 251, and also an Upton 251. I hope to piece that together soon!

Wow man! Killer deal! Yeah, as I understand it, that's the Aztec. Love mine on like every source I've tried it on!

Did you test it on vocals? I really want to hear it on clean a cappella vocals, but I can’t find any good examples. The only videos I’ve found either have terrible room acoustics, or the vocals are buried in the mix behind the band.

I would really appreciate it if you could provide some vocal recordings so we can hear what this mic truly sounds like!
