nanokey=>USB cable=>PC=>UM one=>volca
If you're wanting to do without PC, you have to go slightly higher in the small keyboard range - look for something with actual MIDI out.
(I fell into the same trap; while I wouldn't really call it small, ended up getting an old Novation Remote 25 which has the unusual feature of having 2 midi outs... Alesis Q25 was one of the smallest other options I could find with a real midi port )
Thanks I have been wondering about this, I was thinking about getting the Alesis q25 I think it's called. And use my micro korg for the other, not really small enough though, which is why I was hoping I could just spot a powered USB hub for the pc to get th power, but I'm not sure that'd work either.
It's be great to have a relly small portable option to add to these things bt the alesis is the smallest thing on the market with midi out,
nanokey=>USB cable=>POWERED USB HUB=>UM one=>volca
Looks like insteadid have to get something like a kenton USB midi host as replacement for my pc, still, that and a couple of nano keys is much more portable than an alesis and a micro korg!
