It'd be nice if they used an actual keyboard mechanism in the RD9, but I highly doubt they will, and from what I can see they weren't amazing key switches in the TR-909 to begin with, because the
only 1980s keyboard mechs worth a damn are the buckling springs in the Model F and Model M from IBM (of which I own two of the latter).
