Okay. It's from Korg, it's called FM and not VPM, and it has the colours of a DX7. That is so wierd! We have entered the new FM era since the release of Reface DX. This is great.

dammit when are they going to make something with more than 8 sequence memory? That is my ONLY real gripe about Volcas.

It would be in line with Korg's current diversifying ethos, and the instagram isn't also immediately identifiable as a photoshop/ lift of another synth, as with that Roland fraud of a couple of days ago. There's no reason for Korg *not* to be doing something like this at the moment though, particularly.

The design in terms of combination of colors looks amateurish, so maybe this is just a foto on instagram. But, if it's a true foto then yeah WOW, these are exciting news. A digital synthesizer based on Fm synthesis, in a so portable and affordable package would be amazing.

I don't mind the 3-note polyphony, I'd buy it mainly as a cheap, portable FM bass machine. I love FM bass in techno!
