Hello dear forum members,
I have a problem with my McDsp EC300 v6 plugin in Cubase.  Whenever I enter the tempo into the Tempo Control manually, the tempo always returns to the default tempo of the Cubase project, after reopening the project or even copying to another channel. Even when saving presets, the tempo input that I enter manually in the EC300 is never saved.  Only the Cubase project tempo is always adopted into the EC300 plugin.  What I don't want.  Of course the switch is set to BPM and not HOST. 
I would be very happy if anyone could help me with this. 
Would an update to v7 make sense?

It's most likely a bug in the plug n. Firstly try VST2 and 3 versions if they exist. Can you load it with the default settings then send CC commands to the required knobs to set your settings? Or do it with automation, have some silence before the project starts and click automation write on the FX channel them twiddle the knobs where you want them - then flip it to read mode. the automation channel(s) will then teach the plug in the right settings.

Thanks fot the quick tip. The workaround with the automation works good. Maybe it's not worth spending the upgrade, only because of this bug. I'm wondering if anybody else is having the same bug with Cubase? I also tried reinstall everything with no success.
