Hi Nick. Tape Mode is working differently in v1.0.8. It doesn't move the Transpose and Stretch sliders in opposite directions as it did in v1.0.0. Is the same process going on 'under the hood' now without a visual idicator?

Tape mode is clearly broken - it does nothing here on OSX and Win with version 1.0.8 (and 1.0.9 on Win). It is one of the great features - please bring it back ASAP! Went back to 1.0.6. - please do better quality control.

The very nice varispeed function doesn't varispeed.

It has been reported to the developers.

Hey- what gives!? I bought this as soon as it was announced for Windows and downloaded and installed v1.07 and lucky for me I just saw this thread otherwise I wouldn't even know there was a v1.09 and the problem with Tape Mode. Do you guys send out emails to owners of the software to inform them of updates or do I have to monitor this thread for info? Will I get an email from Don't Crack about the update when you fix Tape Mode?

I wrote in this forum after writing IRCAM last week to report the issue. This problem was noticed while using a demo that is about to expire. I've not heard back from them (only Nick from Dont Crack posted here).

The 1.0.11 Windows and Mac versions are up for you to download.

It fixes the 'tape mode' and a crash happening with the 16X FFT that ate all the RAM available.

Thanks for the links Nick. I'm just disappointed that Don"t Crack didn't send me at least an email notification to let me know that there is an important update to this software which I purchased. Most companies would do that, especially with a new product. Kind of frustrating that I have to look to this thread to get info on updates, etc....

Downloaded and installed from the above link (replaced app in app folder) and mine still says its version 1.0.6. Any ideas?

What I really, really want is to be able to create a tempo change envelope in the display and for it to be able to read any tempo data embedded in the imported sound file.

Well no offense but they have been saying since they released TS that BPM and time adjustments were a top priority and we still have not seen it implemented. I will not be holding my breath.

Just seen this on offer over at Audio Deluxe, and kinda tempted...

How's the support been for improving this software since its release? I saw a post about a plugin version 2 years ago but yet to see it!

I can't recommend this plugin for anything. Your DAW probably has better time stretching software built in. That's my experience anyway. Curious if anyone has any success stories?

They have a demo - try it before you buy it. At the time it was released I was really impressed with the algorithm, and purchased it because it was at a major "intro discount" and we were promised (in this thread!) continued development. I have nothing but regret for my purchase. There has been ZERO support / development for years, and we are still waiting on BASIC features like tempo / BPM support, yet alone a plugin version that was teased at launch. Also this "intro sale" has been matched continuously over the years, which further adds insult to injury. And you wait - IF (and thats a big IF) they actually release another update - I bet it will be a V2 PAID update!

Bottom line: I will never, EVER buy another IRCAM product. I have learnt my lesson and will choose to support other companies, which is a real same as the underlying technology is very good IMO. Its just lacking some basic features that would actually make it useable, and though they promised to add these, it seems it was all a sales pitch, and thus they have lost my trust and future business.

A new TS Pro is on its way: forumnet.ircam.fr/event/namm-show-2017/.

I just did a quick and dirty test live on video with the demo version of TS, using a cello flageolet texture - it's a pretty basic but very good program giving me all the features I have in Falcon with IRCAM Stretch plus some (formant shifting, analysis and more) in real time, for the current discount price I won't resist. It could use a limiter though, overloading the signal happens frequently when shifting the formants and adjusting the transient - sine - noise-balance.

Has anyone heard updated news regarding TS Pro?
