It's a bit confusing to get a grasp on at first. The manual does ok at explaining the... rather bizarre layout of controls (I'm sure it makes more sense as a hardware unit lol), if you haven't skimmed through that yet.

But check out the "Mixing With Mike" video on it. He does a great job of explaining the whole thing, how exactly it works, what it's doing and how to use it in practice. It's like close to 30 minutes, but well worth it IMO.

I've used it in electronic arrangements with success (not quite EDM genre lol). I use it to add some generalized type of movement to a source. It's not particularly surgical in function.

I'm really impressed by the AMEK 250. I use it as a channel EQ. I think it sounds (and of course looks) better than the Massenburg MDWEQ which is my go to EQ so far. However, despite everyone hating the interface of the MDWEQ (due to its looks) I love the usability of it.

The FET compressor alone is just €34 with that code for whatever reason.

Softube is a great company. But I have all three compressors from UAD and I just made up my mind that I will buy P11 Abyss. So I think I will not demo this pack.
