To get back on topic here: Is there a way I can know which Amp models come with the regular Amplitube 5? I suspect the models listed on the website are not all included, as there seem to be many you buy in separate collections. This is not very customer friendly...

Thanks, tviler and monkeyxx. Am I too stupid for IK, or is it just unbelievably tedious to find out about these models? You have to look at these cryptic model numbers in the list, then go and find the model on the site to read about what they are or do... I'm no guitar buff who knows these models by heart. But then you still don't know in which collection they come, so another tedious search ensues.
Well, to be fair, it's probably a reversed process with those free GB slots to be filled...

It's to avoid copyright infringement. Most of them aren't too bad to figure out. They give visual clues. Some of them I just give up on trying to figure out and just use them as some sort of black box pedal or whatever, it just is what it is. That's fine too.

I'm sure us long time IKMM product users will recall what happened with their API eq emulations. When they first came out they had the correct API style knobs which then got changed after IK got a notice from API. I know the Fender and Mesa Boogie amps have the proper knobs/etc. because they're licensed by IK from the respective companies.

I got a demo product of IK Irig HD 2 guitar to iphone / computer interface for 69 bucks now I'm sweeping up the extra Sampletank instruments I didn't get in the first round of 24 free. Kind of insane, but hey, why not?

There was also a "bonus product" when registering the Irig HD so I got Miroslav CE for free. Pretty cool. I already have the full version, haha. Feeling the IK love... sort of. The Irig HD is buggy with my iphone, but works fine on my PC. EDIT: I updated the IRig firmware and it's stable on the iphone now, yaaaay.

That's where the Custom Shop comes in. If you have Amplitube installed, just click on the locked items and they will open in CS and tell you what it is, what it's modeled after and in which collections they are.

A few weeks ago I started a support ticket with IKMM as regards the non-reporting of latency of their tape machine plugins to Pro Tools. I know a couple here have talked about that. Just got my first response from support asking what latency numbers I was seeing. I also wanted to show them exactly what I was talking about. In doing a screenshot of my PT mixer in a simple 3 track session with Tape Machine 24 on one track I saw that the latency was properly being reported to PT and PT was able to compensate for it. Weird but I'll take it. PT 2021.6 on OSX 10.13.6 using AAX format plugins.

I will say the IK talk has made it easy to skim this thread as I have less than no interest in them.

Oh - thanks very much for that - was worried that it might have been a problem at my end but everything else seemed to be working fine.

That puts my mind at rest as I am not exactly a whizz at computers just more of learn how to do what I want to do as I go along kind of person.

LiquidSonics stuff is great and I've got my eye on something else from them soon - they normally do something around BF and they also do great deals for existing customers too.

You can use whatever voucher you like, as long as the minimum spend rules and etc are met. I believe so anyway.

Best bet is to wait for Halloween and one of their surprise vouchers as that does not have a minimum spend attached to it. You should be covered for free if you can wait till then....
