I like the FET a lot, but it's using 16% of my CPU in the DAW, which is, well, not usable. Apparently I'd need a more modern CPU than an I9 9900K. Maybe some day.... (I have Novatron which can do a fair FET impression).

Now to test the SBC.

EDIT: Yeah. Didn't really like the sound of it vs Novatron, for example. The SBC just sounds dead and lifeless and full of midrange.

Ultimately, as suspected, I don't need another compressor.

Looks like I went out with a bang buying all the Pulsar Modular plugins last week. I just quit my job today to work full time on my film, so those were probably my last plugin purchases for a while. I feel super blessed to have this opportunity and a little scared.

I see. Hmmm... I am not able to adjust that in Span in Logic it seems? Vitamin seems to be the only plugin installed that causes this behaviour.. would that imply it's internally oversampled without being quantised back to the project sample rate?

Klanghabitat should take a leaf out of PA’s book: I bought two copies of Cassiopeia at 4am the other day by mistake, not realising there was already a copy in my cart from the previous day. The transaction went through smooth as butter. Fortunately they were really cool about it and refunded me one copy.

I may be missing something, but months ago PA announced they were doing a new thing where your 250 voucher you get for a years sub on MEGA would convert to 10 plugins you can select for free.

Thanks but is free anything from IK worth the install hassle? You can't install just one plugin but the whole bundle and then spend time removing all the stuff you don't want/need.

yea, PA's system is good like that... what i'm wondering, is why you would use your f29 for thorn?... that plug goes for $20 to $25 on a regular basis... you can even get it as low as $10 to $15 on occasion.
