Nice UI. I really like the big knob with the gain reduction display wrapped around on the yellow compressor.

Actually that metering does look like a great new option to hit the market.

While there was nothing wrong with the last metering, I felt it's limited size was a let down. Of course that won't be a problem in '5. Plus you guys look to have upped the ante.

Thank you both. I have enjoyed seeing the evolution of these GUIs and am very happy with the end result. I also love the new metering and the resizing options available with T-RackS 5.

What I like about the Hornet is I just slap it on the master buss when I'm getting level creep. It automatically reduces level that is too high for a quick ballpark, and I can sort it out later. Fast and easy....

Still dodgy and misleading marketing any which way you spin it, and we best not get in to the whole mastering system vs processing software discussion.

I see this thread started quite sone time ago but here is my favourite.

MAAT Digital DRMeterMK2 is fantastic. You can calibrate it yourself, there are presets in there already to satisfy almost all needs. It doesn't have stereo filed graph, phase and all those things like IK or Ozone but this one does the job every time. You can get it's companipn for free for testing Mid/Side, phase issues etc. Ah yes, it costs me literally 0% CPU. Not 0 but so neglectable, 0,1% and I can live with that. I know some here will disagree with this but I don't care. It is my opinion and I stay by it.

I vote for MAAT's DRMeterMK2. Take also it's companion and you're good to go having something of accuracy at the end. And on tracks, of course.

PS: Dorrough is fine, don't get me wrong as well as IK or Ozone. Maybe it's a preference thing, I don't know. Klanghelm's VUMT Deluxe is fantastic as well, balistics adjustable, settings of all sorts...

Da***n, there ARE a lot of grat products out there. It is probably a subjectivity in action.

As soon as some little snags are ironed out, the Pro version of the Youlean Loudness Meter will be replacing the Sonoris Meter I have been using for a decade. It's really, really good.

Oh yes. Youlean Meter, free and very, very good!

Can't do a lot of the best snazzy stuff with the free version though, I highly recommend the Pro, it's very cheap and he deserves the support.
