The selection of possible synths in 1978/9 was not very big. Kurt Hauenstein was always seen with a Minimoog at that time. Listening to the video, all of the synth sounds could have been well made just with a Mini. But I found this video where you can spot a PS-3100 and a SH-5 besides the Moog:
Of course TV appearance may not be representative for what instruments had been used on the records. But still this is a great track and Supermax was ahead of its time. thumbsup
