SH-5 (MS-5) anyone?, in a Poly D/Mono/Poly style case,

This was the one I voted for in the 'which synth would you like Behringer clone' poll, mainly because it was a favourite of Eat Static! I will definitely buy this if/when this comes out.

I'd like a 49 keyboard in this style with a folding module dock that holds 1 70 and 1 80hp desktop module with internal MIDI connections and a switch to choose between them or to set a split. Thinner, brushed aluminum cheeks.

When?

SH-5 is my dream vintage monosynth. There’s nothing that would stop me from getting this. As far as synths go, even these days, you don’t see many dual filter designs. Love me some SH-5 bandpass.
Just hope they include a fair number of patch points on the rear!

edit: roland’s 3 position transpose switches in the ‘performance’ section of their synths were the best. This is only a 3 octave keyboard though, so I doubt that the octave switch will transpose on switch. It’s probably a toggle that transposes on the next note instead. I would love for this not to be the case :/

it's a dream synth, probably my favorite mono, but not again that ugly poly d format... desktop or rack would be way better.

Nothing ugly with the Poly D format but if it's the worst thing people can come up with when piling up on Behringer nowadays then by all means.

If they keep releasing great monos in this format, it gets hard to resist.

why behringer fanboys always think that someone attacks the brand, why can't we have an opinion? it's a damn ugly design and if you put the b clone next to the original it would look like you've won it from a snacks

that's the only synth i've waited for behringer to clone and i really don't like the design, that's all, no piling up, no hate

None of the Behringer clones had really called to me up until this point. I'm not a huge monsynth fan and I'm trying to keep things streamlined. But, this one is different. If they get the sound right it will be hard to resist. Whatever next? OSCar?

Flip-top is not so bad. I've seen folks just mount the panel.

We can almost call them based on the number of knobs.

Really pleased to see EXT IN can be routed to Ring modulator!
Also great to see that EXT IN can be routed to either filter, as on the OG.

1. I would humbly suggest that 2x ADSR (taken from the SH7) is more useful than ADSR+AR.

2. Switchable ENV polarity for both envelopes would be nice (also taken from SH7).

3. It would be really nice to be able to modulate that separate BPF cut-off.

4. It would be great if velocity could be routed to a few places..
