There does seem to be a sense that this might be a dry year. Roland dumped the Boutiques out late last year, same for Yamaha with Reface, and Korg shotgunned the Minilogue. So, it does make me wonder what is left that would be of interest to this group.
We'll all know soon enough if we can just keep our shorts on.
I'm really looking forward to Dave Smith new synth. It's gotta be something special!
I hope Roland will surprise us with a more original System 700, with the original large modular format.
Roger & Dave will have plenty to say, I'm sure. Also attending is Mike Martin. Even if you aren't a fan of Casio's latest offerings, Mike is a great product demo guy and very knowledgeable of industry trends. I think he might have some interesting things to say as well.

LOL
Interesting to have a guy like Dave Smith on the same table with legendary ROMPLER HOME KEYBOARD specialist Mike Martin, General Manager of Marketing from CASIO.

Oh, please, Patrick!
I seem to remember Mike Martin being very helpful on this board when those rather interesting Casio Synths (XW-G1, XW-P1) came out here a year or two ago. I don't think he deserves a slam. He seems like a good guy.

I've never thought of Mike Martin that way. I thought he was a respected leader in his section of the industry, along with being a talented programmer, mature and generous forum member, and all-around asset to the keyboarding world.

This would be my assessment as well. When the XW synths were launched with all of their weird quirks and UI oddities his tutorials were essential. I think he will be a great addition to the panel and has certainly earned his place there.
Probably make those typical noises, so for Office, typing, printing, phone and fart sounds...
My thoughts exactly. Maybe next year we'll finally get the PO-49 - Bathroom so we can finally get those sought after toilet and shower sounds without a DAW. SMH

My woman gave me one of the "Elements" for Christmas. Beautiful.
Can't help point you towards finding money, although there's apparently a ton of money in selling modular synths these days. Get a small business loan to board that trendy train while it's still chugging!

i think i'll be more cautious in buying these , i liked the others but i havent used em for a while.
I wonder if these would follow the same fate
would like to get a better solution to sync and power them.
