I’m installing Cubase 14 and there’s A LOT of extra things I can install.

What would you recommend?

I clicked install all first but that would’ve been like 50 gigs, didn’t have that space on the internal. Could set up an external disk for some stuff I guess

What have you done? What do you recommend?

I find the Steinberg web site very vague about these expansions. What vst's they are attached to and what they contain so sorry I can't help because I didn't bother with most because I felt like I was going down a a bit of a NI. Complete rabbit hole.

I had the exact same experience!

I bought NI Komplete CE at a sale and I never installed it because it requried like a terabyte of space and it seemed to be a full time job for weeks to figure out what was even in there.

I’m happy if Steinberg gives us extra stuff but it’s difficult to navigate.

I also don’t know if it’s easy to fully uninstall these extras or if they’ll stay around and bloat the system, the DAW or the disk space?

I'm not a huge fan of verve to be honest, that was the only thing that really did not do anything for me, I have no use for it.
