I notice that I posted a reply here some time back.
In the interim, I did buy wavelab 10 on a whim but haven't yet used it. For the random mono or stereo manipulation, I still use sf and then import back into Cubase.
I dunno. I suppose I'll gradually do things in wavelab now that I own it.
But for sure, I don't master, have no interest in mastering, and don't trust anyone who claims to be a mastering engineer unless I know their work and that they have 30-40 years of experience.
As I mentioned at another time, I sometimes need to focus on surgery on a mono or stereo track...and for me personally.....I just need to remove it completely out of the larger multitrack project.
The idea of surgically manipulating a track...while it's in the larger project....with all the other menus, buttons, views, other tracks and whatnot in plain sight....screws with my focus.
