The latest video of Tigran Hamasyan has pretty decent sound (for the style - it is not classical, not even standard jazz) and an interesting micing technique - anyone to guess what it is?

The DIs below the piano are probably for the Yamahikos? There are two (DPA 4011 or 2006, 4015, Audio Technica AT4041, Audix or something else?) for the high strings and bass strings up close inside, then there is one stand with unseen mic below and another mic stand behind the piano (might be just there with some communication speaker or no mic, too).

Perhaps someone worked on this or on some other occasion with Tigran?

I could be wrong, but the mics over the strings look like Schoeps bodies to me...

I played at a festival last year right before Tigran's trio and I'm very glad we played before he did. He is an absolute phenom, brilliant guy.

The mics inside the piano are AKG c480s.
