It is remarkable (some would say it's a miracle) that the organ survived the fire without serious damage. I suppose it's better than before, after a full overhaul. I read in Pianist Magazine that "It is expected that the organ will sound noticeably different once it is restored to the cathedral due to the change in dynamics and structure as a result of the fire." Assuming that you have heard/recorded that organ before the fire, did you notice any difference?

It was a very full house, that will probably have influenced the acoustics. The organ itself seems perfect now, though to me it sounded softer than I anticipated (even tutti wasn’t obliterating, just proportionally very loud).
