It's off, I don't use the effects. While the "FX on" button is off, all the other fx knobs make no difference noise wise in any position.

Looking at the signal flow chart, yes, the disconnect for the FX is after the circuitry, so in the off position it adds no noise.
As a practice, leaving gains up on unused channels or options is not standard, so it caught my eye.
