This means that, as a relatively new customer, I have spent a significant amount of money with IK Multimedia in the past 18 months and I generally tend to 'go all in' when it comes to purchases when they prove to be of quality provided that the company is offering me a good deal. However, to be completely honest and as a repeat customer, this situation has left me feeling much less inclined to make any more purchases with IK Multimedia.

This is the exact point that I was making in my emails to customer support & to Peter from IKM when I tried to engage with him here several week's ago. I think that their support is too rigid & they don't have the necessary flexibility. This is why I recommended to Peter that they revise their upgrade policy & for him to take these suggestions to management level (especially in the wake of the recent Waves situation).

That's when his communication to me dried up.

If you read what I actually said to Peter, along with my email communication with IKM that I posted earlier, it only makes sense to look after customers who spend significantly more money with a company than others. As the owner of my own business, that's just business sense. Other large companies manage to do this & as a result, they retain an extremely loyal customer base & guarantee repeat business whilst attracting new customers.
