ok, so I'm perplexed ?! Could just be something im missing ... Im using windows fl studio 20 and i have an 808 with the same note continually being played and recorded into edison at the same volume. when i add a plugin ... The 808 changes volumes and rounds out the 808 waveform that was previously hard clipped. now i know im recording into edison at 32bit float but im not clipping going into edison and i know the sound itself is not 32 bit float so it should not to my best understanding change in volume when adding a plugin and be "unclipped"

so first off ... i tested it with other 808's, claps, etc etc and it didnt change the volume of those sounds ... but this particular 808 goes from being hard clipped to rounded as if it never was hard limited ... like i said the volume that im recording into edison is extremely low so im totally confused how this could be ... can someone point me into the right direction as to what this is ?!
