The maximum EPROM size is 64K, which equates to ≈ 2.5 seconds at 27 kHz.
• If a .wav file exceeds this limit, it is automatically truncated to fit within the
available EPROM size during sampling.
I like this improvement of VProm 3. Creating and using bin files is pretty easy. VProm 2 on the other hand allows files up to 32 kb. If a file is longer, it won't load.
Unfortunately on my music PC (Win7) I still have to use VProm 2, so it needs some work from me to create bin files with VProm 3 that I can load into VProm 2. No problem with sounds that have a short decay, but sounds like toms and cymbals require some editing before converting with VProm 3 for use in VProm 2.
