In order to run PSP InfiniStrip in 30-day trail mode or activate it, you need an iLok user ID which you can create for free at www.ilok.com, and you need to install the free iLok License Manager application. A hardware USB iLok dongle is NOT required, however it is optional. You can activate the license in 3 separate locations, each of which can be either a computer or an iLok dongle (2nd generation or above). You can move these licenses at any time using PACE's iLok License Manager software.

Got my eyes on this one since it has been announced and here we go. PSP have one of the best sounding plugins out on the market ever since. Who didn't use PSP WintageWarmer? Man memories ;-)

Love the features in this C-Strip especially "parameter matching of plugin of same class", clever ;-)

I have crazy high CPU with this. More than any AA channel strip...

Averaging between 3 and 10 depending on what is engaged on an old i5 iMac.

I have just replaced NI VC-2A and PSP E27 with and PSP InfiniStrip running - Pre 80s>Basic Filters>Fet Pressor>RetroQ>De-esser>Opto Lim and am getting around 5-10% less CPU consumption!

Ugh... just when I feel like I don’t need anything new for a while.

Full strip (all slots used) is only 1.1 to 1.2% CPU here.

I do find it odd from a marketing perspective that no where on the product page does it tell me what 22 different processors are modeled, only the general categories (compressor, eq, etc...)

Looks dope but i'm unemployed for the time being and have no desire to drop schmeckles on plugins at the moment. Looks like a solid release tho, maybe in the future in a sale or something for me. Nice one psp.

I find it odd from quite a few different perspectives x 22.

I mean, not even individual pics with the name of insert let alone a brief description. Maybe they were rushing to get this out, but I don't know why with many folks' wallets extremely tight right now.

Edit: Just checked the cart and I was able to get it under $100 due to the plugins I have, plus I got a small discount for participating in the slogan contest. Not bad considering I paid what I considered the no-brainer intro price for the Sonimus strip.

I'm also curious how well it fares against VMR. My fav VMR modules are VTC and FET Vintage.

I have no doubt it will be a quality product, just would love to know what's in it. Is it a compilation of existing PSP plugs or all new stuff?

In any case I'm sure someone will list out whats in here soon enough.

Are you in the subscription model? I ask, because I am in the moment that I would like to invest in analog model plugins and I do not know what to do. I would like to know the opinions of people who are in the sub model and also acquire other plugins.

I do no like subscription models but if I compare this kind of plugins vs to have a lot of plugins during 1 year it does not seem so expensive.

PSP has excellent analog modeled pliugins. I'd put them up there with Waves (actually can be great) and Plugin Alliance. Acoustica Audio also has great stuff but the CPU hit on their products is a bit insane.

In the NAMM video from gearslutz, they mention that they have tweaked and refine the algorithms but it could be to make them Zero Latency or another feature.

It would be very unsual to improve all the algorithms of the different plugins, pack them in one plugin and sell it for less than all the plugins separately.

I've been trying this out today and think it sounds really good. I love the workflow of this plugin and find it very intuitive to use. However, I already own Waves Omni Channel which also sounds great and is pretty comprehensive. I also own PSP's Fet Pressor, Twin L, E27, Xenon, 2445 and Nexcellence along with stacks of other plugins. This makes me wonder if PSP InfiniStrip is worth adding?
