Broken Speaker Plugin?

Anyone know if this exists? I've heard 60's garage bands would poke speakers with coat hangers to get a damaged edgy sound.

Check out the McDSP Futzbox. Lots of cool emulations of speakers, mostly "lo-fi", and telephones and stuff. If I'm correct I think there's even a few broken or torn speaker emulations but don't hold me to it.

I was using Trash 2 yesterday for this very purpose, it's very good for that.

Great thread. I was looking for something that can re-create this weird broken speaker bass sound that opens this obscure Rundgren track from the late 70s. Luckily, I have Trash2 that I got for free once and haven't used.
