The CL1B is probably the best compressor plugin out there, FET is definitely not second and the trident as well.. and the dynamite, oh boy..

I just can't wait to hear this one. I'm kiddin' guys keep it up, you really raised the bar in digital processing, with tools like these mixing itb will stop being an excuse for bad sounding mixes

Ah that's great. I've just been tracking at a studio with two of these in the rack. No chance to use them, but maybe I'll get a chance for a direct comparison at some point in the future.

The Softube Tubetech compressor is one hell of a plugin.
If this is as good as CL1b, then two thumbs up for them! thumbsup

These guys have a vacuum into my wallet. Can't wait for their Summit emulations to come out too!

Oh, I don't know... There's something to be said for having a product release date drawn out agonizingly over the months while keen anticipation turns into bitter resentment. Unfortunately, I can't say it here.

I turn yet the page to find yet another chapter in my Soft-Tube saga. To put it in bullet terms

* Another EQ would not have been my vote for them to make
* I HATE that I said the same thing about the Tilt EQ but l love it.

*Hate that unlike other plug-in makers who don't give an abnormally long amount of time pre product drop so some plans can be made
* Love going to GS everyday wondering if Tony announced yet another SoftTube plug-in - Really it's has been kind of exciting lately...

* Love Tony for bringing me the news

*And most of all love that I found a company who's plug-in's I don't even demo at this point - I just buy them and so far have never been anything but thrilled. Out of nowhere and above all Soft-Tube has achieved that level. Considering I do that with no other company - It says a lot.

Again, SoftTube Wins - So I'll will Deff be adding EQ plugin #60+? To my crowded Plug-List =)

One thing I really like is that you realize how lil plugins you need *when they are good* to close a mix, at least this is how is working for me.
And def Softube is the company that lately made the best good sounding plugins out there, along with Brainworkx (mPressor, DynamicEq and BX Digital are awesome)

Still love the "outsiders" like the Glue and Ferric and URS Sat

Not long ago while mixing ITB i remember trying and putting a lot of stuff on channels and yet not getting where I wanted to go, sure one never stop learning and stuff but I still believe that the right tools make your work easier and give you a better final product

I've said the old cliche: it takes all kinds, and that I like that. But, I'd be perfectly happy if this were the model for all new product releases... bravo Softube!

I'm getting too old for the long, drawn out thing. A product just isn't really a product until it ships. Then, it should also be finished and work properly. I'd bet we're safe on all counts here!
