I got some midterms in college right now... Don't have time to demo the plug yet, but I'll demo it as soon as I'm done studying for midterms. I'm actually in class right now.

As far as the DJ set on Saturday, I'm only doing a 3 hour set for a corporate event, and it'll pay for the plug.

Probably clears the confusion I hope. I'm just excited to try out this plug!

i've tested the CL1B this last days....and one word :
Amazing ......i used to think that the red opto from T racks was good tutt
the cl1B is the best opto , by far...... ( my taste of course )
i compared it to my uad2 opto (la2A ) ....it's just day and night ( for percusiv tracks like kick , not for vocals ).


i also compare it to my different soft comp like uad 4k channel strip ( ssl ) , neve 88rs , fatso , stillwell stuff , 2500 api.........
very different kind of comp , i know but obviously the cl1b is my new favorite !!!!
amazing , it has this crazy snap....very close to the hardware mojo!!

btw , i also tested the api 55OB today , and one more time it's my taste , i compare it during 1 hours with all my uad eq ( neve , pultec , ssl etc...) ..... especially for the low end....the api kills the uad.....it's warm , full , focus ...... i'm crazy about it
anyone else is in love with the 550b ??
