Like it says...
I have my audio SSD connected to my USB 3 port

(I disconnect this drive when not in use coz i dont want hackers to ransom ware my drive ...again)
While i have my daw open working on a project the daw randomly (it seems) produces blasts of static which i can stop only by closing and opening the daw.
I have tracked this down to windows doing an NTFS check
(\Device\HarddiskVolume8) is healthy.) No action is needed. Event ID 98)
I then see the contents of the SSD drive on my screen and everything works again...this was not happening on my old win 10 system..
I dont need to tell you how annoying static at 80db is...
One possible solution Google threw up was to modify in the Group Policy " Audit Removable Storage."

Anybody shed any light on this?
