Im thinking of replacing my two Apogee ENSEMBLES with two x Arturia audio fuse 16rig to give me the 16 outs i require for my studio..
I purchased two ensembles originally under the impression they could be easily daisy chained as Arturia claimed in PR... That never worked..Then one of my original ensembles died after warranty, so had to buy a third unit...
Basically wondering how the converters and sound would compare...?
Many years ago i had been advised to replace the ENSEMBLES with a Symphony...but with add ons, it was a pricey option...
Does anyone have practical experience/knowledge of working with the Audiofuse, to tell me how the sound quality would compare to a SYMPHONY for instance ?
Can two Audiofuse units be daisy chained ?
How is the build quality...
Whats the general verdict on them... Anyone compare them to the Ferrofish Pulse16 ?

BTW I need 2 x OPTICAL IN/OUT – Toslink connectors to provide S/PDIF, ADAT or SMUX format digital I/O, and i need 16 analogue outputs(Jack) to work in my lab....And iam on MAC, with Logic.
Open to alternate suggestions.....

Any opinions on the Audiofuse16 in general ?
