I was wondering who has BeatBox Anthology 2 and what's your thoughts. I have it and just starting to dig into it a little bit.

Any tips would be appreciated!

It's pretty good and under radar for many. I've got 5 or 6 drum machines and to my amusement almost every time ending up with either Beatbox 2 or Battery 4 for electronic production.

Very good choice of separate drums, good patterns to start with. Effect rack - sometimes I use it, but most time do it with other plugins. Worth to try!

I'm loving it.
Just made an album and used this for all the drum parts.

Really easy to navigate around the UI, although I wish I could lock all the fx off so that I can scroll through kits without having to keep doing it manually. (A bloody pain)

Guyz may i ask you some , as a owner of beat box anthology 1 , we had general midi kits (GM Kitz) accessible via browser , are they still present ?
Asking thios because in those kits we used to have 2 kicks (when alternative is present for exemple for the 707 .808 ect ..)

Can anybody post the trees of folders ? even in manula i don't have this infos .... i have seen there's kits , but i suppose those are to be loaded in the dedicated gui ....

And by the way , are we able to load anything in track (for exemple in the snare track , can i load kicks or at least on last PT tracks *?)

Anyone who has Beatbox Anthology 2 know if it has the Boss DR-55 in it? Can't find it, but all the names are somewhat different for copyright reasons i suppose.

I've mapped most of the instruments inside BBA2 with actual units.

Anyone know what the actual units are of these?

- 8 Bit Box
- YPT Eight

All the units in Beatbox Anthology 2 that start with “Y” are Yamaha products, so I would guess that the YPT Eight might be the Yamaha PTX8.

EDIT:
Okay, so by cross-referencing the images Beatbox Anthology 2 shows for these, I think it is safe to say:
- 8 Bit Box is the Electron SidStation
- YPT Eight is the Yamaha PTX8

A lot of the UVI vintage synth patches have too much effects for my taste too.

I'm considering buying VPROM 3.
I find the LM One samples in BBA2 a bit underwhelming to be honest.

Indeed , i don't mind stuff like delay reverb , chorus as UVI FX are just exellent ... but hidden ones like those are a pain ...
Achance Falcon users can de activate those but for UVI worstation ones , it's not possible /...

Strangely enough BBA2 has no CR-78 hi-hats, tambourines, bongo's, conga, maracas, claves, cowbell or cymbal
