Trash vs. SATV

I'm probably going to get a lot of "these are two totally different animals" type of replies but ..........are they?

The reason I ask is because I already have Trash and I tried the SATV demo a while ago but was put off by the drop outs. I remember thinking that the SATV did sound good though and I'm thinking about buying it.

So, are they two totally different things or can you get the same, or very close to the same results with either plugin?

I believe the SATV is an unlimited-time demo, and I think he adjusted the dropouts--you'd probably get a faster answer reinstalling the demo and trying side-by-side for yourself than waiting for someone to compare them for you.

Oh, I thought I could only run the demo one time. I'll download it again and give it a try.
