Btw, my aim is to make mostly electronic music and mixing. I rather go for flatness, stereo separation and depth of field (lol.. who doesn`t) not so worried about ear fatigue as I like to keep my sessions under 3h and i like to keep my volume from moderate to low, so i need something that responds well at low volumes

Consider some good headphones in your budget (eg. HD600/650, K712, DT990) and Realphones/Sienna/Nx/etc., especially since you presumably won't have a great room.

I would stick to monitors that are currently being produced, and I would stick to the most common 'pro' brands even if the price range is 'prosumer'. I think it basically leaves PreSonus, Kali Audio, Yamaha, and JBL... possibly Tannoy and Behringer...

Between those I'd say Kali offers better value than JBL. Haven't worked on those Yamaha's, just listened to them I think and didn't care for them (but it was a while ago). Haven't heard the Presonus I think.

I would try to listen to all of those or even mix on them if you get a chance. Being able to try, return or exchange is also a factor.

The ones I have tried working with:
PreSonus Eris E4.5: Sounds good, the mids feel too scooped for my taste
Kali Audio LP-6 V2: Easiest to work with. Translates well. Probably the best choice in this list.
M-Audio BX5 D3: I can't remember if it was the D3 or not, but the lows were too boomy.
Tannoy Reveal 402: Sounds great but I haven't tried to really work with them.
Yamaha HS5I: I could work with this pair, but I don't really like the sound. HS7 or HS8 probably fits better for electronic music.

A few other choices:
Yamaha MSP5: Very detailed and fun to work with. Too tiring for me in extended mixing period.
JBL LSR 305 or 306: I feel like these are meant to be for electronic music production.

as mattiasnyc suggested, it would be better if you could visit the store and listen to all of them if possible.

I think the JBL LSR308 sound nice. You can find them used in your budget. I've also seen them new from time to time in your budget as well.

I downgraded from Eris 5 to 4.5's last year, just because the 4.5's were very cheap (used), and I want to add some other monitors eventually (currently also have a single Mixcube).

The 4.5's are definitely missing lows, but beyond that they are pretty balanced and pleasing to use.

No regrets at this point. I use them at low to moderate volumes, as well.

If you can go bigger like 6 or 7 or 8 inch woofer class speakers, you will probably gain a lot of lows.

Also, the Eris E5's were only SLIGHTLY bigger than the 4.5's, and have that front bass port instead of the back, which might make a difference placement wise? Also the E5's each have amps vs the 4.5's where one amplifies the other (which makes the 4.5's lighter if you need them to be portable, ever).

Anyway, if you have headphones to hear below like 80hz, you will like the 4.5's.

(Nobody cares, but I want to also add APS Klassik 2020 and maybe a used BlueSky MediaDesk 2.1 setup to my Presonus 4.5's and Mixcube).

Kali audio is probably a great choice for more lows, looking at your list (not familiar with most, though).

If you find somewhere relatively recently discontinued Fluid Audio F5 or even F4 - this is the best I've heard in the budget class. Very legible and clear monitors even at low volume levels. I bought a pair of F4s as laptop speakers, but now I do at least 90% of the work on them, despite the fact that I have Genelec 8010a, 8020d, 1029a, ADAM S1X etc. The main thing is to install them correctly, not just on the table, but on stands with the right height or inclination so that the tweeters look into your ears. The optimal distance between them is about 90cm between centers.
Absolutely quiet, no hiss. If you later buy a "native" subwoofer (Fluid F8S) with a bypass function, you will get an inexpensive full-frequency system to work with. Several of my colleagues followed my advice and are very happy. The subwoofer can be turned on with the pedal only when it is really needed and once again not to annoy the neighbors.

From the ones you listed, the Kali Audio LP-6 V2. But a JBL LSR308 MKii will be a better choice still. Have a look here:

It's not necessarily a better choice given the (implied) budget. The LP-6 come in pretty much exactly at $300 dollars (about 280 euro) whereas a pair of 308s according to your link will set them back $500, or about 470 euro, so 57% above the given range.

I could recommend the Behringer Truth B2031A , the JBL LSR305 and the Kali Audio LP-6.
I think they are all good monitors for their price point.

Should have checked the prices first. Within budget, I'd go with the JBL LSR305 over the Kali LP-6, but they are both good speakers.

That was very helpful and narrowed my search a lot, thanks to you all. I am considering following Alex_HS's advice as I have seen a couple of Fluids around and I would like to have something upgradeable, but I will stop by a shop to try also the Kali LP 6 and the JBLs 305, I've also never been a fan of Behringher but hey, I'll give em a try.

They are knockoffs of the revered Genelecs 1032A that cost above 5000$ a pair. For the price point, they are fantastic like the 2 aforementioned. They also transmit quite a bit more low end info with their 8.75'' woofer then the 5'' JBL and 6'' Kali.

I remember years ago being in a similar situation and somebody turned me on to the JBL LSR305s. I create custom multitrack commercials and music always plays a big part from electronic to classical. It's not mixing the actual tunes but with a zillion effects, voice and music, my mixes are often very critical to the ad being heard properly for all of the nuances. I started mixing my ads on the JBLs and then had the opportunity to hear various mixes on radio and television and in various venues from cars to living rooms to public places etc. and knew right then and there the monitors were telling me the truth. A year later I was in a position to upgrade the monitors but got so used to them, well, I still have 'em and see no need to upgrade. Of course I'm only talking about ads and not finite musical work but wanted to at least pass along my experience with the 305s. There pretty flat and once you figure out the nuances of them, they're pretty trustworthy. '-)

I went with the new behringer truth 4.5 for a second system

wtf even the switch and front dial and ports are the same as the presonus.

I gotta say we live in amazing times cheap MacBook Air for $799 Logic free (owned) UA Volt 1 $139 with $899 free plugins and now these nice little speakers for $149 - I’ve made a nice little second system at work….

I have some Wharfdale nearfield's but I don't use them atm. They're pretty good, but they don't go low enough.
