I remember that one. It was silly. The one where the guy was hypnotized to death, but wasn't given the proper signal to come back to life was a good one.
I was too young for Twilight Zone or the very similar Outer Limits (not the newer version), so I grew up on Get Smart and Batman. When Night Gallery started it scared the crap out of me. A few years later came The Night Stalker with Darren McGavin- that was good. So when the X-Files came out I was totally hooked- it's still my favourite TV show.
As for junk TV- I can't take that crap. When The Learning Channel started, it was amazing- I learned a lot of stuff watching it. Then that octuplet family started playing and it's been crap every since. History Channel- same thing (used to be good, now it's crap). Discovery Channel is the same too.
I will watch The Terror coming up on AMC as my sister's partner, an older Japanese guy, is in it and I understand he will be onscreen a lot. If you watch it, it's his hand doing the calligraphy.
