Both are important parts of the process, and why we often produce in one studio and mix in another.
+1
My writing room is a MBP M4 Max running Logic (it’s fun to write in Logic 11)
And the monitors are Klein and Hummel 0300’s …. they’re soft, forgiving and have that artificial bass vibe.
My studio is Cubase Pro 14 with ATC 25’s.
The 25’s are brutal in their honesty, perfect for tracking, editing and mixing.
Horses for courses …. as the saying goes.
