I've made an unofficial VSIG module reference, available here -
https://godlike.com.au/index.php?id=420
Scroll about half way down the page and look for
Code:
VSIG Module Unofficial Reference
Rev 1.09. Unofficial guide to VSIG modules with updated documentation and full information from the default database. PDF
9 MB
on the right hand side. I've documented all the issues and added some hints and tips on modules that I've had trouble with. Haven't tried the chebychev filter, but haven't seen the same issues with the one pole filter, though I've only used if in a couple of algorithms.
I'll be doing another update in the coming weeks with the new blocks available in the latest VSIG version. The new blocks take time as I need to pull data out of the database, which is a pain.

Some of the modules don't behave as expected.
For example the Chebychev filter has a declick flag which does not really do anything. (Documentation states you can set this to 'one' to remove clicks while applying frequency changes). Other filters also behave strangely, such as the onepole whose lowpass output... just distorts?
Not sure what my question is.. I guess I'm wondering if this is probably user error? I have a hard time imagining eventide has built their algorithms with buggy modules.
