Bumping this because my P-330 has also lost the factory patches. Or rather they’ve become a garbled mess. I’m guessing it needs a new battery and the factory sysex uploaded again. There is no function to “restore to factory settings” included in this module. Please help!
Just wanted to report that installing a fresh battery, and perhaps removing and reinserting a cable where “reset” was printed on the PCB caused the lcd to show “cold boot” after powering up, and all the factory patches were restored! I also took the opportunity to hit the tact switches with some D5 and now those are responding much better too. There is very little information or service notes on this machine so I’m sure this info will come in handy for someone down the line.
