Heh, not a better deal than NIB for $650. But for someone wanting a North American PSU it is a good price.

Uh...how do you figure that? It's $150 less with a new battery installed. And how do you know the seller didn't just rebox it?

You also have to ask yourself...is someone actually going to buy it for $650...I guess we'll see.

yeah. the NIB label doesn't mean that much to me when it comes to an Fs1r. i'd pay the $500.

Yeah, I'm actually hoping someone does buy it for $650 - that way I can rebox mine and up the price

Lets see, The photo shows the original Yamaha tape seal and the description says "This auction is for a Yamaha FS1R FM Synth Module‏.These are absolutely brand new.They have just stayed in our warehouse unsold.We are selling 12 of these,available for buy it now."

And when in doubt, ask the seller before you buy and if it turns out they lied you get your money back from Paypal.

Don't you hate it when assholes try to act all big because they got this or got that. It's so disrespectful to the true purpose of this forum.

Plenty of opinions have been expressed on this thread and all that needed to be said about FS1R and FM8 have been said. There is no need to make fun of anyone for their choice in music-making tools or to nitpick about stupid unrelated BS.

Personally I think the $500 is the better deal. I'd be happy to go for that, if I hadn't blown my funds. I've probably got too much new gear to learn atm anyway.

Have to say, the prices offered on this forum are very tempting, for some really interesting gear.

Well it is used so you get what you pay for. One man's "mint condition" piece of gear is another man's dusty scratched up ash tray. I've learned that the hard way and avoid used gear like the plague.

Not to mention, the $500. FS1R has a 120 volt North American internal power supply as opposed to 220-240 volt down under version on ebay.
