I counted 5 Roland Boutiques. I think thier made only by Roland though. A couple different 8 voice boutiques a 6 voice and a SH 101 clone I believe if Iโm remembering correctly. Some were new others were on Reverb.
There are 6 currently in the Roland Boutique Series.
They use Rolandโs ACB modeling. The Roland SE02 is
a discrete analog synth first of the Boutique series that is analog.
And if you don't like the controls, they've been MIDI mappable since it shipped. No need for a software editor (plus the VST version doesn't really work except in a couple DAWs).
Highly recommend the 100% analog ExtBox addition to the SE-02.
I never personally ran into the "stepping" issue with the cut off knob on the SE-02, but the filter knob on the Ext Box sounds the same to me. However, the drive and HP filter alone make it worth having. Someone should start manufacturing, especially since it's a useful add to any synth with those specific CVs.
