That's what you're seeing on an M1?
Because here, on an M1Pro, under Logic, playing no notes pegs a core to 100%. When you play some notes, the CPU drops to something more reasonable, but returns to 100% pegged as soon as it goes back to playing no notes.
The opsix pegs out a full core almost all the time, and glitches badly, and is unusable.
Performance is much better and more like what I'd expect, and predictable, running Logic in Rosetta and thus running the Intel versions of the plugins.
So for me at least, the native versions seem unusable, unless I'm missing something... Anyone else trying these on an M1Pro or M1Max machine? Do you see the same thing?
Edit: I tried natively in Live 11, and performance seems fine. So it's just in Logic something bad is happening, by the looks.
