I installed FL studion on a brand new Mac mini running Sonoma. the opsix plugin crashes FL every time I try to open it. Does Anyone else have any experience with this kind of issue in FL or another DAW? I have been using logic the last couple of years and I dont think this has been an issue. I told image-line and the said maybe opsix is not compatible with Apple Silicon which I think it a bit of a silly response. I also forwarded the crash dumps and stuff to Korg but never heard back.

Yes.. was a silly comment re: opsix. opsix works fine for me on Apple Silicon (M2 Pro) both in standalone and as AU Plug-in (Logic Pro user here). No exp with FL studio here.. G'luck getting things sorted out though..

is there any chance that we get the 96 voices polyphony (or more) of the Wavestate mk2 for the Wavestate Native?

Unfortunately at layering thick chords (checked, the used voice count playing these on HALion can go up to 150-160) the current 32 polyphony Wavestate Native is used up very quickly in case of 4 part layer Performances.

I've been wondering the same too.

Note that wavestate native’s polyphony is 64 stereo voices. (wavestate native LE, bundled with Keystage controllers, is limited to 32 stereo voices.)

That said, I’ll add a feature request for optionally increasing polyphony, if there isn’t one in the database already. Note that I can’t offer guarantees!

I've tried more or less all the fm synths around and i feel like this is prob the best designed synth. The accessibility of the parameters the way it's laid out etc is just way too good.
I'm using non legit right now and want to get legit anyone knows if they run sales ? 200 kinda steep for me haha

Funny, I actually think the design / UI is quite awful, one of the worst among FM synths (and I know them all). You have to continually click between a vertical stack of tabs to see essential controls -- basic FM synth programming stuff -- that have been spread across these tabs, seemingly only to force you to use them. Which of course means you can never see all the essential info at once, so you're constantly tabbing / clicking to jump around these areas, just to _then_ modify pitch, envelopes, oscs, etc with further clicks. Meanwhile the entire bottom half the screen is wasted on showing you stuff you'll want to see / change very, very rarely. IMO its not well thought out at all.

I guess i don't disagree with the screen use. But it's one of the only synth around with a all the controls laid out like that in the small tabs that easily.

Tell me which fm synths around is made that well ?

Dexed is freeware and somehow the only synth that literally puts everything in one, single, visible space. I think it's fantastic.

OPS7 from Plogue has a separate view for each Operator, but otherwise conslidates information very clearly / navigably. I love it as well.

These, of course, are both mostly focused on direct DX7 emulation (though OPS7 has quite a few additional features). For the 'modern FM' synths, I think probably Reason's Algoritm has the best design. FM8, Opsix and F'em are all not great, afaic.

I have OPS7 and used it thoroughly and it's just plain terrible UI imho

I have a Korg's Keystage and it works well with the Native plugins. It has MIDI property exchange so the controllers have their parameters on the display (when in standalone mode).

how does Keystage work with the modules? What parameters get displayed? Anything additional to what is on the module?

It works well with Korg Midi 2.0 modules like the Wavestate. You can see each paramater name and value on each controller.
