This looks cool. Do you know if it'll work on the Microwave 1? They didn't specify any info about it there.

MWI is a bit different in how it deals with single cycle waveforms and wavetables compared to almost any other wavetable synth. It's not a single audio file, it's a collection of single cycle waves and an indexing table that places them at will, then empty spots are interpolate on patch load. So, this is not exactly supported AFAIK.

I reached out to them a while ago and wanted to know if one could have it analyze a wave file and derive a wavetable from it... They said not yet but that there was something in the works...

That would be great as that is the one main thing that I miss...

I don't know how many years exactly but I know I bought at the peak of the pricing so it must have been early. Zero issues with mine.

The screen is great, bad experiences with Waldorf (Blofeld, an XT that was so heavily used before I got it I can't really blame Waldorf for wonky encoders) make me treat it a little gingerly when twisting the endless encoders but it's not really necessary.

The oddities (processing power, how modulation works vs. a modern mod matrix implementation) are key elements of the synth, no MK2 needed.
