I replied to your other post and also left a comment on the YouTube videos. I can see now that it is the same problem that mine has. Notice that the 4 oscillator lights are also illuminated and if you play the keys it just makes a terrible sound. My solution has been to leave it turned on and after 15-30 minutes it will go back to normal. It basically fixes itself after being on for a while.

Open the rear panel and move a little bit the connector between the 2 pcb (the uper one), on my monopoly it resolve the bleed noise it seem there is a bad connexion on some models..

The original Korg monopoly can supposedly sync mg2 to trigger in.

I cant seem to do this on the Behringer. Has anybody successfully done this?

In the OG MG2 syncs to keyboard gate when arpeggiator is on; no external sync for MG2, only arpeggiator does. Behringer MP MG2 doesn't sync to external clock until somebody hacks it.

You should contact Behringer's support for repair. Sadly this place has become silent. If you wish to make other people know of Monopoly issues I suggest you to post a polite message in the Behringer Facebook page, you will likely receive more feedback than here.

Wow, sounds they really nailed the vintage experience. Sometimes it works if you just let it warm up enough.

That is actually the way I'm looking at it. It has its quirks just like a vintage piece of gear would have!!

Had they added patch points on the front panel it would have been icing on the cake.

Does anyone know why the behringer monopoly keyboard dosen't go down very low?

Is there a way to change the octave range ? I got this 2nd hand maybe I need to calibrate it somehow.

There is a three position "TRANSPOSE" switch in the middle of the panel, UP - NORMAL - DOWN

Also, each oscillator has a 4-position octave switch.

If you want low, switch transpose to down and set your oscillator octaves to 16'.

It's like the original, it doesn't go as low as other synths. The way to go very low is to use the CV in and an external CV source.

I removed the spring of the bend wheel.(just like the OG)It´s very easy to do.
You can then use pitchbend to get low without holding the wheel^^

Yes, the central stop/lock is gone then, too.
But it should be possible to fix that in some way, but I haven´t think about that when I had it open.
Anyway, it seems there is a bit of "deathzone" around the center so it works for me (Im not a skilled keyboard player).

P.S : now, watching the Video again, it seems easy to make a desktop MonoPoly

Edit : (min. 11:26) Just remove the screws on the back of the "wheelbox". There are 2 connectors you have to disconnect. no need to mark them. You can´t reconnect them wrong.
Then you can take out the "wheelbox".

Thanks for the reply, I have yet to find a practical solution to maintain the central stop (which I like to have). The dead zone in the middle of the pitch bend range is necessary to assure a stable enough zero Volt = no bend. I should take a look at the wheels of the MS2000 to get some inspiration.

I got the bleed. haven't opened it up to see if it already has the rework wire.

Got me wondering if it's feasible to add a pot for VCA bias so it's accessible from the front.

I couldn't find the details supporting your "opened up" comment - it's probably my age(!): I was a teenager lusting after the original MonoPoly upon its release!

So, what is the (unofficial official) technique for curing the VCA bleed issue?
