I had put up all my synths for sale a few months ago but ended up having a change of heart so I kept some. I wish I had saved them all but that was impossible since we sold the house that had the studio in it. I ended up keeping the Solaris, FR-777, Model D reissue, Parva, Cirklon, and MPC 5000. Also kept my Eventide Space, and H3000 D/SE.

I missed all you guys. Glad to be back.

interesting to hear about the stuff you kept cuz i remember you had an impressive collection. Can you tell us why you kept the Parva over other options? kind of cool to see that it made the cut.

Great to see you kept some, id think if you didnt you would eventually become discontented and buy more.

Ive only been without synths for 6 mths in the last 34 yrs and i wasnt happy about it...

nice to see you back...in your absence Behringer and Arturia have taken over the synth world, Roland is strictly an Accordion manufacturer, Korg make motorbikes (Korg Itchyfanny 750), Yamaha have changed their name to Yamahaha, and DSI is now an STD...I was going to say modular was popular but you'd never believe me

I kept the Parva because it had been for sale but didn't sell yet. A lot of my synths sold very quickly so even though I may have wanted to keep them in retrospect I really didn't have the opportunity. I definitely had a great collection and really enjoyed playing them but I think they went to good homes. I also still have my K26000XS and Yamaha AN1x. I may try and get an FS1R again.

Yesterday a Waldorf MW thread popped up and I wondered how you were doing...

I am doing a LOT better. I really miss my Waldorf synths. The Monstrum editor with the MW1 rev A was killer. Now I have no Waldorf synths left and the closest I get is the Waldorf wavetables that are on the Solaris.

What typical filter types would be fairly 'authentic' to use in combination, if one wanted to run it through an analog filter?

No clue. I’m not a deep expert of synth chip topology and all the tech details. Just tossing out some very financially friendly options for getting that Waldorf vibe.

I don’t know what filter Waldorf is using in the Rocket but it’s juicy and deliciously bold. You can run external signals through it. As good as the Pulse 2 sounds, I don’t think it sounds quite as good as the Rocket, which is a shame because it’s considerably more powerful. Someone here said the Rocket filter is different from the Pulse 2. I believe it but like I said, I’m pretty much just an end user.

On another note, Future Retro never gets any love. Doesn't seem like people even know the company exists and makes great synth products.
