Do you think Behnringer will wait at least 11 days to announce his clone?
Like you are supposed to do after a first date?
I wonder if Behringer now owns Waldorf ? A huge synth like this after such a long time, just getting by on little products, like the Rocket / Streichfett ?
Hello yeah! Waiting for microwave xt to pop up on a local market which is a rare toy. Think I might get this one instead if it's better choice in wavetable synthesis. This pic looks like Schmidt synth a bit, hard to tell for sure tho
Damn, it made me restless! And still almost month to go.
I hope it has at least couple parts of multi timbrality.
And boy, would I welcome a step sequencer, that could sequence a couple of external tracks as well.
Please let this be scanning wavetable and Additive based... essentially FL Studio's Harmor in hardware form featuring analog filters..... this will be an instant classic if so.
I hope the analog filters have character and that it's possible to access digital filters like those on the Q and XT (especially the comb and waveshaper filters). And that it has analog VCAs with overdrive.
Finally! This is the exact synth I was hoping someone would make! Especially Waldorf. And it's basically the synth I've been slowly building in Eurorack; a Wavetable, Granular, Resonator synth with the addition of Analog waveforms as well!
Being that this one is from my favorite synth company, I am sold! Now to start saving...ο»Ώ (they mention $3000+ which seems about right for a synth like this. Probably going to be around $3499)
Yeah, that's the price point that immediately jumped into my head the minute I saw all those knobs and the Waldorf name. Good thing is that the vid clearly says this is a prototype which means Waldorf isn't going to actually ship this beast for another year at least (if at all... snark*) which gives me that much more time to save up the cash. This is exactly what I have been looking for to round out my synth collection.
