We have been working on this for the past two and a half years and it is finally finished. My tech wiz, Rhys Davies, built the whole unit himself and wired it. We had lot of changes along the way but it works GREAT and we got exactly what we wanted. S/N -95.5 dBM, Distortion .0005%, Frequency Response 20 t0 20 KHz +/- .5 dB. It is built in an old "industrial control unit" shell that we got from the surplus store. It is built using the MTC board from here https://www.ka-electronics.com/shop/. I am very proud of Rhys, he is a junior at Ohio Northern University studying electronic engineering and has worked here for 4.5 years as an intern.

So do I . It looks so "retro". It was some type of "monitor" console for an industrial process and was at this store https://www.electronicsurplus.com/ where I used to go all the time but they moved to the other side of Cleveland and I think the last time I was there was 2.5 years ago.

The console had been stripped of all its components so the only thing left was the shell. They have a lot of this kind of stuff just laying around and don't post it on their website so you have to go to the store to see it and buy it. There is another store that I frequent more often. Here is their website...https://hgrinc.com/ and lots of times they have big sales and I can get some amazing stuff for very little. They do list everything they have on their website. They currently have 26473 items in stock and they have branches in a few other cities. My mastering desk and the granite plinths for my speakers came from there.
