Today I bought a Neumann TLM 103, got it set up and made a test recording. I use Audacity for the Audio SW and Focusrite Solo for my audio interface. My computer is an M3 Max chip Macbook Pro. I just got this mic and I wanted to know if it's me or if anyone has the same issues or if I should take it back because there's no fix.

Directly after I'm done speaking, there is a knocking, ticking or thumping sound that happens, each time. If I speak a sentence, it happens within the empty spaces of that sentence where I'm taking a breath.

Update: I adjusted the playback settings and I believe I was able to fix the issue for now. Not sure it will be a permanent fix. Worst week with my new mic.

Update: Update to the update. That was short lived!!

Is it humid where you are, or where it's come from?
The mic may not be quite dry... I'd give it some time and recheck it.

do you have a shockmount? I bought the studio version which comes with the neumann shockmount, makes a huge difference, also a good mic stand helps.
