This old adage applies well to Hip Hop
"keep it simple dummy"
I wanted to post this release even though normally I'd scrap it, I wanted to use it as an example of going a bit to far and complex with the chords and production arrangement aka overly orchestrated.
Todays Hip-Hop is too empty and simple, however the opposite side of that is just as problematic, when you try to do too much & become too complex and busy to maintain that simple grove that hooks us into the song.
