My Lake Tahoe home went up for sale yesterday and features a nice 5.1 surround studio. It's a Hidley / Newell design, so functions well for both tracking and mixing. There's also tie lines to the living room, should you wish to record your piano or band.

It can be viewed on Zillow, Realtor.com, and probably every MLS on the planet.

I will miss this studio dearly. It was my pleasure to build it, and with more than a little help from the Gearspace community. [Thank you, all!] It would be nice if somebody from our community would take it over and enjoy it. Otherwise, it's likely to be demolished and turned into a yoga room. Perish the thought.

That's a beautiful house, congratulations on obviously doing very well for yourself. I'm sorry that you'll lose your studio, hopefully you'll be able to move all your equipment into a new space and keep creating.

Thank you so much! Yes, that's my goal. Divorce means downsizing in many ways, but it also means my priorities are the only priorities (for better and worse). New studio is priority #1 !
