Front wall and back wall each have 12" of space I can use for trapping.

What would you use for max efficacy?
12" available for the front wall
12" available for the back

Can easily add or subtract some space for each if needed.

I'm in the US (had no idea that similar products would have such different specs given the country they are made/sold in).

What are you specifically trying to target?

Strong modal peaks and long decays, SBIR non resonant reflections?

What is the wall construction? Drywall? Cement? Brick? Plaster? or mixed materials Are all walls constructed the same? Also are there any doors or windows? If so where are they located?

Nothing specific.

Building treatment that is self standing/stacking.

Will likely move multiple times over the next few years so I'm looking to build/buy treatment that essentially becomes an instant control room.

Fully realizing the compromises in this. Not expecting perfection. Just really useable.

12" is a stable - self stacking depth but could easily built narrower by adding feet. (or deeper).

Sort of what Brian Lucy did with his room using real traps.

Simply researching which materials - at what depths, in what order - yield the smoothest absorption curves - as low as possible.
