To celebrate, I released a new song today called "I Want To Be In Love Again". I had a lot of fun with this one and it's the first where I've used COWBELL so I think you're gonna like it! Early 80's pop-rock influenced, you might be able to guess my reference song.

Hey!

One man home recorder here. I have this idea for a track. Think of it as sort of a mellow instrumental b-side of a forgotten 70s fusion act. I have this sketch that is the part with the main melody theme where I would like to stay for most of the track but I need some part that sort of mixes it up a bit to keep it interesting. And I'm totally stuck. Do you guys have any ideas? Could just be a chord progression that I can transition into before going back into the main theme. I'd like to keep a mellow vibe through out.

Thanks very much for the kind words! Yep, its me on keys/bass/guitar/vocals. It would be cool to hire a really good drummer to re-track the drums live, but unfortunately, with the earning potential of recorded music so reduced in the age of streaming, it's harder now to justify the expense.

VI drums. Pitch correction, basically as needed. Some takes don't need it, other takes may have a note or three that's out enough to bother me but I still like the vibe, so I'll fix 'em.
