Is this is a first "true" and most "realistic" Spatial VR audio rendering engine available ?

As far as I can tell it pretty much includes emulations of everything that was missing in all previous engines up until now..
Including interaural time and level differences, early reflection, late reverb, spectral filtering done by our outer ears, material of the surfaces etc.

Is this some kind of "framework" code that's going to be implemented and gradually developed everywhere in the VR domain from now on ?
Has Google just announced a global VR audio standard format ?
